The beautiful and historic Nooe Building on the corner of East St. & Small St. is now home to 6 unique massage therapist. Relaxation is not a luxury... it is effective preventative healthcare. Stress engages our sympathetic nervous system, better know as "fight of flight" response. The body needs to be in a parasympathetic state or "rest and digest" in order to perform many vital funtions. Massage is an excellent way to engage this relaxation response to allow the body to heal and repair itself by stimulating circulation, flushing toxins, and releasing muscular tension.
